Common questions

How do I delete my account?

Open the app, go to Profile, scroll to Account, and tap Delete account. This permanently erases your credentials, documents, CE records, work history, and every uploaded file, along with your login. It cannot be undone, and we do not keep a backup copy afterwards.

What does the free version include?

Tracking your credentials, storing documents in the vault, forwarding documents in by email, and renewal reminders at 90 and 30 days are free and stay free. Reminders are never switched off by a lapsed subscription — a missed renewal is exactly the thing this app exists to prevent.

What does Pro add?

CE and MOC compliance against each authority you answer to, credentialing packet assembly and sending to HR, state form auto-fill, privileging readiness, CV generation, CAQH attestation monitoring, and CE Broker export worksheets.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID, so cancellation happens in the App Store rather than in the app. On your iPhone, open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → CredentialVault → Cancel Subscription. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

I subscribed but the app still shows Pro features as locked.

Open the paywall and tap Restore in the top right. That re-reads your purchase from the App Store. If it still doesn’t unlock, email us — include the Apple ID email you purchased with and we will sort it out.

Is my data used to train AI models?

No. Some features send a document you upload to an AI provider to read the details off it (for example, pulling the expiration date off a certificate). That processing happens to serve your request only, and the content is not used to train models. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.

Does CredentialVault guarantee I stay compliant?

No, and we won’t claim otherwise. Requirements change and boards differ; CredentialVault helps you stay ahead of renewals and see what each authority asks for, but the responsibility for meeting them remains yours. Always confirm against your board or certifying body.
